Position Summary
The Payroll Administrator is responsible for managing and processing employee payroll accurately and on time. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, maintains payroll records, and addresses employee inquiries related to compensation and deductions.
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Payroll Administrator will be responsible for the following:
- Process payroll on a regular schedule, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
- Maintain payroll records and employee data.
- Verify timesheets and resolve discrepancies.
- Manage tax withholdings, benefits deductions, and garnishments.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and tax regulations.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports.
- Coordinate with HR and accounting departments.
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries.
- Assist with audits and year-end reporting (e.g., W-2s, 1099s).
- Experience with payroll and benefits administration preferred.
- Knowledge of payroll systems, benefits programs, and compliance regulations preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and payroll software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- This position requires regular work in front of a PC, desk, and phone.

- Paid Time Off (PTO):
- 0-5 Years: 120 hours per year.
